Position Summary: The Sales Support Generalist position is responsible for supporting the selling function of the store in the most efficient manner possible.  The Sales Support Generalist position is non-exempt.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
•    Performing StoreReady which is the process of unloading trailers, processing, and new moving merchandise to the appropriate area on the sales floor.
•    Receiving task includes receiving the merchandise trailers, maintaining the cleanliness of the receiving room, merchandise transport equipment, proper receiving paperwork, and ensuring RTV’s are processed and shipped.
•    The maintenance task including light bulb replacement, ceiling tile replacement, and replacing store sales floor and maintenance supplies.  
•    Housekeeping includes being responsible for the cleanliness of the facility specifically the restrooms, associate lounge, and office areas.
•    Performing gift wrap services as requested by customers.
•    The Office-Human Resources function includes all aspects of HR information processing, associate time and attendance maintenance, and payroll processing
•    The Office-Deposit function includes all aspects of monetary maintenance in the store including processing the deposit, maintaining store petty cash funds (registers and vault), and performing the sales audit function.
•    The Office-Records/Admin function includes all other record keeping functions and processing information for store special events.
•    Sales Support Generalist tasks may include executing markdowns, processing RTV’s, Damages and MOS.

•    Comply with store regulations and adjust to changes in systems and procedures.
•    Assume responsibility and take initiative on the job.
•    Report problems with equipment to management as soon as difficulties are noticed.
•    Complete any and all other duties temporarily assigned to this position.
•    Follow all policies and procedures related to loss prevention.
•    Use safety equipment at all times in accordance with OSHA regulations.
•    Use time, equipment and supplies efficiently and prudently to ensure a minimum of waste.
•    Ensure that records are completed for all merchandise received from stock to be repaired.
•    Report all suspected theft and unusual activities according to the security guidelines for the store.
•    Observe security and safety regulations by keeping traffic aisles clear.
•    Attend all store meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
•    Maintain a neat and professional appearance in compliance with the current dress code.
•    Will agree to work in other areas or complete assigned duties as requested by my supervisor.
•    Assist in initial training of new associates when requested and assigned by my supervisor.

Requirements/Qualifications:
Education & Experience
•    High School Diploma or GED equivalent
•    Read and Speak English
•    Ability to read and adhere to all policy and procedure manuals

Office Focused Generalist

•    Proficient in computer business-related computer software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, etc).
•    Excellent analytical and reasoning skills.

Physical Requirements
•    Ability to use computer keyboard, standard telephone and other related business equipment.
•    Must be able to lift as required up to 25 lbs.
•    Ability to work unsupervised
•    Ability to stand for long periods of time
