Position Summary:
The role of the Senior Financial Analyst is to provide accurate, timely and insightful financial and operational analysis, focus on Omni-channel financials, and to identify and implement process improvement opportunities both within the Financial Planning Department and throughout the organization.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
  • Act as lead analyst for all things Omni-channel including capital, expense, benefits, reporting, test & learns, omni profitability and more
  • Become a subject matter expert for assigned areas of responsibility
  • Build & maintain appropriate pro forma models / business cases to support each of the Omni-channel workstreams
  • Partner with Omni / Sustainability stakeholders to develop a challenging but achievable budget which reflects all known expense savings opportunities and approved investments
  • Integrate all omni financials into appropriate planning lanes (expense, capital, benefits) through interactions with your other FP&A counterparts
  • Develop budget, forecast, scenario planning reporting for inclusion in executive level presentations
  • Partner with Director of Sustainability to build out formalized scorecard and to drive continued progress on sustainability initiatives and expense saving opportunities
  • Identify, quantify, and assist in implementing expense savings ideas
  • Develop and maintain expense forecasting models / reports for areas of responsibility
  • Partner with business partners to understand current state of business & upcoming risks and opportunities
  • Perform ad hoc analysis on all areas of the business as requested by the Manager of FP&A, Director of FP&A, VP of Finance and CFO
  • Identify process improvements within the Financial Planning Department, including but not limited to report reduction, process automation, improved use of technology, improved communication and data hand-off, and documentation of key assumptions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other Finance Department associates and management
  • Develop and maintain relationships with departmental and divisional management and expense budget owners
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Four Year Degree, Finance or Business, MBA preferred
  • Three or more years Financial Analysis experience with a proved track record of career growth, preferably FP&A (retail a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to create complex financial models
