Manager - College Relations and Employment Branding

Position Summary:
The Manager - College Relations and Employment Branding will plan, coordinate, implement and continuously improve the company-wide college-recruiting program.  This position will focus on internship programs and the recruitment of full-time college graduates to support the growth of the organization as well as the overall employment brand for the company.  This position will work closely with all levels of management in designing, implementing and executing the college-recruiting program.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
  • Partner with leadership to gain detailed understanding of organizational goals and needs
  • Grow company’s current campus recruiting programs – building a strategy that aligns with business’ talent needs and diversity goals
  • Directly recruit for both development programs and entry level positions as business needs require
  • Manage budget including developing proposals and monitoring expenditures.
  • Create and foster relationships with colleges, universities and professional organizations
  • Lead campus recruiting efforts related to corporate diversity initiatives
  • Provide strategic recruiting expertise by staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, legal developments, technological advancements and competitive benchmarking.
  • Measure and analyze key metrics around campus recruiting efforts (according to NACE or EMA recruiting metric standards)
  • Represent the organization on various college panels and advisory boards, job fairs, interview days, information sessions and other recruitment related events. 
  • Coordinate business involvement in campus events – identify recruiting champions.
  • Work with marketing and special events around employment-brand specific opportunities.
  • Responsible for developing, executing and monitoring recruitment social media channels.
  • Work closely with corporate recruiters to ensure continuity of all recruiting efforts
  • Assist with the development of on-boarding and assimilation processes that support talent retention and set new hires up for success.
  • Manage Employment Branding initiatives from design to delivery.
  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time, and up to 75% during peak seasons.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience in a large corporate environment, ideally focused on campus programs
  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience
  • Prior experience in budgeting and program management
  • Proven experience in developing campus recruiting strategies to include internship programs and college grads
  • Proven ability  track and measure recruiting results
  • Proven ability to develop internal and external relationships with senior leaders/executives and collaborating and building relationships across functional and organizational lines
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting components
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to think strategically and to develop programs and processes with minimal direction
  • Bachelor’s degree
