Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Position Summary:
The Senior Application Architect specializing in ESB technology is responsible for comprehensive technical design, implementation, administration, and support of the ESB and related integration for Belk IT. This includes all aspects of ESB design, install, creation, administration, tuning, and support.

Requirements/Qualifications:
•At least 8 years of experience in WebSphere Message Broker, WebSphere MQ, WebSphere Data Power. Should have worked on Message Broker v7 or above. Knowledge and experience with Message Broker v8 is a plus.
•End to End knowledge in requirements gathering, solution architecture, solution design, development, implementation and post implementation support.
•At least 4 years’ experience leading Data Integration projects
•Ability to understand Message Broker interfaces written in ESQL and Java is required.
•Strong knowledge of XML, XSLT, SQL and FTP
•Should have good experience of working with databases (Oracle and DB2)
•Should have a strong understanding of the following concepts in Message Broker: a. WebServices with SOAP and HTTP nodes; b. MQ and file nodes; c. Message-sets & DFDL; d. Message domains like XML, MRM and BLOB (knowledge of DataObject domain is a plus); e. Exception handling and audit logging concepts; f. Using debugger and trace files for troubleshooting and testing; g. Logical message tree structure and specific use of Environment and LocalEnvironment sub-trees; h. Message parser concepts
•Working knowledge of WebSphere Data Power is desirable
•Ability to troubleshoot and fix complex WebSphere Message Broker and WebSphere Data Power interfaces in an Unix environment.
•Ability to guide junior team members on ESB concepts
